JD Byrum, 79, of North Port, Florida, formerly of Russellville, died Sunday, March 24, 2013, at Port Charlotte, Florida. He was born October 8, 1933, at Hector, to Hughey John and Gladys Elsie White Byrum. JD was a veteran, having served in the United States Navy and the United States Air Force, where he retired as a Master Sergeant on July 1, 1973.
