John Gilbert Hasak 75, of Cape Coral passed away after a lengthy and courageous battle with a terminal illness. He passed away peacefully at home with his family at his side. He was very proud to be from Pittsburgh and was an ardent Pittsburgh Steelers fan. John proudly served 3 years in the Army, John retired from Verizon (formerly GTE) after 26 years.
