Charles Vernon Tubbesing, 94, of Fort Myers, FL formerly of Avon, OH passed away November 2, 2012.
Charles was a 2nd Lieutenant, in the Air Core trained as a Bombardier pilot for WWII. He was an avid reader who especially loved books about WWII. He had a passion for planes that stayed with him his entire life. He worked as an accountant for Mobil Oil Corp. before retiring in 1982. Charles was a quiet humble man. He will be remembered as a loving husband, father, grandfather and uncle.
