William "Bill" Towle, D.M.D., age 89, of Venice, Fla., passed away Wednesday, Jan. 30, 2013. He was born in Richford, Vt. on June 21, 1923, the son of William Clare and Ruth (Haughey) Towle. Dr. Towle was a 1941 graduate of Richford High School (VT). He entered the U.S. Army Air Corps (330th Bomb Unit) in July 1941 and served in the United States, North Africa and Italy during World War II before leaving active duty in July 1945.
